Fashion is not just about looking good. Your style will bring a feeling of confidence when you wear it well. Your fashion sense helps you to be comfortable in your own skin.
We strive to create garments that not only reflect your taste but are also sustainable in nature.

Sewing has always been my way of expressing creativity. My first outlet was the world of figure skating, where I designed and rhinestoned competition dresses and created elaborate thematic costumes for holiday productions and corporate shows. After years of designing and thousands of hours at the machine, my focus shifted to something I’m deeply passionate about: sustainable personal apparel.
At Little d Designs, the goal is simple — take something you already love and make it extraordinary again. Altered couture. Revived favorites. Style that’s uniquely yours.
Rethink. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

My fiber art journey started with a welcome basket.
Five years ago, I was visiting my husband Brandon’s family and his mom tucked an embroidery kit into a gift basket for us. At that point, I didn’t even know how to thread a needle. But somewhere between that first visit and heading home, I was completely hooked.

Five years ago, I was visiting my husband Brandon’s family and his mom tucked an embroidery kit into a gift basket for us. At that point, I didn’t even know how to thread a needle. But somewhere between that first visit and heading home, I was completely hooked.
I taught myself the basics, then dove into books, tutorials, and hours of practice — and I haven’t put a needle down since. Today my work spans hand-embroidered pet portraits, embellished clothing, sashiko mending, and mixed fiber projects. I also work with a Cricut Maker to bring even more dimension and detail to my designs.
I live in Carbondale, Colorado with my husband Brandon and our two boys, Corbin and Emmett. When I’m not stitching, you’ll find me on the slopes at Buttermilk Mountain as a ski instructor or coaching mountain bike in the summers. The mountains inspire everything I make.

Together, Dawn and Danielle bring complementary skills and a common thread — a love of craft, a commitment to sustainability, and a belief that clothing should tell your story.
Every piece from Little d Designs is made with intention, care, and a little bit of mountain spirit.
Based in Colorado. Made with love.
